Local artist, Jacqueline Kastor, donated an original painting, “Joyful Hope,” for use as the Sweet Charity Ball logo.
“In painting “Joyful Hope” it was my wish that those who are healing in body and spirit can move forward in strength and the joy of a new beginning. HEAL has offered hope and a possibility of peace to those who have seen too much despair,” said Kastor.
The Sweet Charity Ball: “A Night of Hope, A Celebration of Survival” is an elegant benefit for the Nest Domestic Violence Shelter. The event will be held October 1, 2011 at the Alto Country Club. This is HEAL’s signature event to inaugurate Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
