The Help End Abuse for Life Board of Directors, who jointly oversee the activities of HEAL and The Nest Domestic Violence Shelter, are a group of volunteer members of our community. Their responsibilities range from setting the annual budget to establishing long-term strategic goals for the program. The Board establishes policies that align with the agency’s mission statement; policies that the organization’s executive employees implement in day-to-day operations of the shelter and resale boutique. Overall, the Board of Directors shape what HEAL will be and will accomplish as an organization.
