Ruidoso is a small village where, as the old saying goes, everyone knows everyone. The same is true of businesses, churches and organizations in our cozy community. Oftentimes, when one charity gets an abundance of a donation, it shares with other needy charities in town. That happened when HEAL was the initial recipient of much food and produce from the closing of both TR’s Market and the Café at Mt. Annie’s. Thanks to the Lincoln County Boys & Girls Club, who recently returned the favor by sharing their abundance of special books for the kids at the Nest. HEAL is pleased to have such supportive relationships with other charities, as we all strive to meet the needs of others in our community.
