Dr. Amanda Favis and Luther Light recently donated two electronics to the children at The Nest. First, the Leap Pad Ultra is a child-safe computer tablet with a large hi-res screen, Wi-Fi with kid-safe web and access to the LeapFrog educator-approved library. Secondly, the V.Reader is an interactive children’s e-reader (like a Kindle). Because we know that exposure to books and information in early childhood play a key role in a child’s educational development, HEAL is especially grateful for these wonderful gifts. They will fit in perfectly with our children’s program, HEALing Kids.
