Mountain High RV Park in Alto made its second large donation to the Nest Domestic Violence Shelter in Ruidoso Downs.
The donation consisted of much needed personal items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste, kids coloring workbooks in both English and Spanish, personal soaps and baby wipes and diapers.
“Our friends at Mountain High realize how difficult it is to keep basic hygiene items in a shelter with 28 beds. We serve a lot of women and kids here at the Nest and their donation makes a major difference for our residents”, said Christina Sanchez of Help End Abuse for Life, the nonprofit organization that runs the Nest.
The items were delivered to the shelter by Barb Childress and Darved Arnett, pictured below.
