Teaching children about charity and community service sets the groundwork for a future of helping others. This is exactly what happened to 9 year old Jimmy McCarty. Jimmy had a birthday party recently and donated all of his gifts to the children of the Nest for Christmas. He also brought food with his gifts. To think that a 9 year old child would have such charitable capacity is a prime example of the things that continue to inspire our community to be involved with the Nest. Happy 2014, Jimmy!
