Bret Knight-Mark is a local contractor who has a heart for The Nest. Bret has volunteered his amazing handyman and “fix everything” skills to help repair and maintain the shelter. The Nest opened its’ doors in 2007 and literally thousands of women and children have lived with us while they rebuild their lives during that time. The wear and tear from those wonderful 7 years has been significant. With the guidance of our Board Finance Committee Chair Rick Hutchison, Bret has already helped repair countless items and by volunteering to do so at that, saved HEAL & The Nest a significant pot of money.
